Producer Licensing Information

All Property & Casualty and Adjuster individual Licenses expire of the last day of the producer.s or adjuster's birth month in odd numbered years regardless of the date is issuance.

All Property & Casualty and Adjuster agency licenses expire April 30 in odd numbered years regardless of the date of issuance.

A late fee of $50.00 is imposed upon any renewal postmarked after the filing date.

Failure to notify the Department of Insurance of a change of address within the required time frame will result in a $50.00 invalid address fine.

Producers are required to notify the Department of a change in address within ten (10) days of the change (mailing, resident or business address).

Adjusters are required to notify the Department of a change in address within thirty (30) days of the change (mailing, resident or business address).

The number of hours to be completed every two years for license renewal is:

Life: 24 — 3 Ethics (inclusive)
Life with P&C: 24 — 3 Ethics (inclusive)
P&C: 24 — 3 Ethics (inclusive)
P&C with Life: 24 — 3 Ethics (inclusive)
Claims Adjuster: 24 — 3 Ethics (inclusive)
