PIA SCHOLARSHIP
OVERVIEW
Requirements for application submission

Agency must be a member of PIA.

Must demonstrate commitment to pursuing designation that the scholarship is awarded.

Must present essay describing their involvement with the industry as well as their
aspirations for continued growth.

Benefits of scholarship

PIA of Louisiana has budgeted to provide four scholarships per year at $250 for each recipient.
Scholarships may be used toward the following designation programs: CISR, CIC, CPCU, CPIA, CRM.
Other designations may be accepted but need to be approved by Member Benefits Committee.

Recipients will have the opportunity to attend convention at a discounted rate and will
receive recognition at convention as the scholarship recipient.

Each recipient's name, brief bio and what type of work interests he/she has will be published
along with a picture in The Agent's Voice.

The participant will be invited to attend a chapter meeting during the year as PIA
of Louisiana's guest.
| | • |
PIA will provide payment directly to the institution along with the registration or will
reimburse participant if acceptable receipt is provided.
