PIA of Louisiana Member Benefit
First Data Merchant Services has partnered with PIA of Louisiana to offer all members an
exclusive Emerging Market Program to accept credit card payments from your
insurance customers. You will have the ability to accept credit card transactions either
in person or over the phone with little to no cost to you.
With this program, you are allowed to charge a convenience fee to your customers
that want to pay with their credit or debit card. You will be charged a special PIA
member rate from First Data and your convenience fee charged to the customer will be set
at your discretion. This fee should more than enough to cover your fees to process your
transactions. Basically, with this PIA member benefit, you are able to accept payments
and pass the cost on to your customers.
